Teenage Fanclub are a Scottish alternative rock band from Bellshill, formed in 1989. Norman Blake, Raymond McGinley and the late Gerard Love created some of the purest, most joyous guitar pop ever recorded. Bandwagonesque was famously rated album of the year above Nirvana's Nevermind by Spin magazine. Kurt Cobain called them the best band in the world.
